Energy has been of interest since the past until today. Energy has become an essential element in the economy of international relations. The Ukraine war showed that the energy debate is not only focused on the economy but plays a prominent role in international relations politics. In other words, we saw energy use as a political weapon during the Ukrainian war. In recent years, energy has shown that it plays a serious role in the formation, continuity, and convergence of the West Asian region. In this regard, in this article, using the theoretical framework of interdependence and using the combined quantitative and qualitative methods, the question of what is the role of energy play in the convergence of West Asia? Accordingly, in this article, based on its main hypothesis, it is stated that energy plays a very important role in the formation of convergence in the West Asian region due to its great importance in all dimensions. The findings of the research indicate that energy plays an essential and decisive role in regional alliances, which has caused the expansion of alliances and convergence in different regions of the world, especially in West Asia, due to the interdependence caused by energy requirements.
